Rogation Sunday
Rogationtide is the time when God's blessing is asked on the newly sown crops.
Rogationtide is the "before" of which Harvest Thanksgiving will be the "after".
As well as asking God's blessing on the crops, Rogation Sunday is a good time to think about our part in God's creative work. At this time, we offer our work to God - not only agricultural work, but all the work done by members of the congregation and people living in this community.
